How do i add my own Auth Key?

Hi, How do I import my own key for a given server into this app? All of my work servers are locked down with SSH keys created from putty (ppk) but I cannot see how to add this key to the server config...

I subscribe to home delivery of The New York Times and as a result of that I am entitled to the daily puzzle. Before I purchase 2 Across I need to be sure that I will be able to download and fill those daily puzzles. Does 2 Across easily have that capability?

Any chance you can do an update for iPad support? Yours is the best crosswords app I've used, and so I'd hate to have to switch to another, lesser app and also lose all of my in-progress puzzles.

You could make 2-Across wonderfully forward-compatible by allowing users to add their own puzzle sources.

You could outline exactly the format of the file/directory structure for organizing the .puz files, or specify what the XML has to look like. No extensive api docs would be necessary, I'd just love to be able to grab .puz files I have and complete them in 2-Across!

Effective March 2010, no puzzles are able to be downloaded from the Philadelphia Enquirer.

Please restore access, I love Merle's puzzles, and they're only accessible 4 weeks into the past!

Hi,

I just buy the Pterm software (1.3) on iTune. I have some basic knowledge on SSH and tunneling. I connect to a remote SSH server located at home (Tomato Router). I use Putty to do that and it work pretty well.

With putty I foward the port 8080 localhost on the port 443 (only non blocked port at my office) There is the script (batch file) I use to connect...

putty -D 8080 -P 443 -ssh user@my_home_ip -i private.ppk

I use firefox with socks proxy (localhost:8080).

I try a lot of diffrent configuration. I connect to the server, but I can not get the Pterm built-in broswer works. I try with the iphone safari browser it wont work to. I try to modified the wifi proxy setting to, no success at all!

Please give me a hand with that connection, a kind of "How to" will be appreciate.

Just got an email from Eliza to say there is a new app update with Apple to fix the Guardian Crosswords problem for iTouch and iPhone 3G owners. It works on the 3GS. Thanks for that.

It doesn't work for me. Trying to download the Guardian Quick Crossword crashes the app. I'm on 3.1.3. BTW. Is there anywhere where we can get feedback form the author of this program, because this forum is pretty dead.

Agreed, I requested a 'hide / show completed puzzled' button as well.

Having some indicator in the '+' (add new puzzles) screen to show that 'you've downloaded this already', - whether a little symbol next to that date, or perhaps the date changes to a certain color - would be useful, too.

I'm delighted with the program, and have been waiting for UK crossword to work again.

The new version of 2 Across, however, seems only to work with firmware 3.1.3, and I'd rather stay with 3.1.2 for now. Is this a deliberate decision? I can see the update in iTunes, but not on the iPhone.

Are there 3.1.3 features this new release takes advantage of?
